back to top New Legislation Increases REC Value in Delaware
Legislation passed on Wednesday, June 30 2010, promises a larger dollar amount paid out for each Renewable Energy Credit (REC).
This is huge news for those lucky enough to have a solar array installed. The previous rate of $225 for a REC is now increased to over $300 according to REC auctions and will increase to about $350 experts predict.
History has shown that when one incentive increases, often times another will decrease. The increase in the value of RECs will probably lead to a decrease in the state rebate over time so time is of the essence for anyone considering solar.
Those of you who already have solar will see the added value.
Hurry! Don't miss this exceptional window of opportunity to let renewable energy work for you
(What is a REC?)
back to top Guide Goes Green
Clean Energy USA, just completed installation of a 40.50 - kilowatt solar power system for ‘The Guide’ in Seaford, Delaware. With incentive like the State Rebate, the Federal Tax Credit and Renewable Energy Credits, help make this system affordable with a pay back of under 5 years.
The Guide's solar array will be producing over 50% of the energy consumed by their offices and the printing facility. The 50-year-old company is now one of the ‘Greenest’ businesses in Delaware.
Tim Ayers, owner of Sussex Printing Corp, publishers of The Guide said “I was impressed by Clean Energy’s knowledge and professionalism. Craig Littleton, our Salesperson/Project Coordinator, closely followed every step of the process and was great to work with.”
“Clean Energy USA couldn’t be happier to have partnered with The Guide on their new Renewable Energy Initiative. This is another example of an established Delaware business leading the way for environmental responsibility while reaping tremendous financial benefits. This is a true win-win-win” said Clean Energy USA’s COO, Dave Preston.
back to top Easiest $250 You've Ever Made
With the pending increase of the value of RECs, other incentives such as the state rebate are likely to decrease. This means that, for those still considering solar for their home or business, there is a sense of urgency to take advantage of the rebate while it is still available.
With this in mind, there has never been a better time to tell your family, neighbors and friends about solar and all of the financial benefits. It is worth $250 for every referral that you give Clean Energy USA that turns in to a sale.
Tell them to call 302.227.1337.
